9 months in unopened original packaging, away from frost and extreme heat.
The temperature during application and drying must be between + 5 °C and + 30 °C.
Do not apply to damp surfaces. Do not use on frozen surfaces.
It is not advisable to use this coating in combination with self-adhesive mesh tape and nor is this intended : paper tape submerged in the coating ensures more substantial mechanical reinforcement than self-adhesive tape affixed directly to the board whereby the coating is only on top of the tape.
24 to 48 hours depending on weather conditions.
The plasterboard panels must be fixed in place in accordance with the DTU standard.
The panel cut-outs must be chamfered and free from dust.
Gypsum blocks must be dry and free from dust. Aerated concrete must be dry, free from dust and etched.
Before treating the joints themselves, any gaps where the plasterboards are accidentally out of alignment must be filled, along with any other gaps (chips, wear and tear of cladding etc.).
Apply the product manually, spreading the diluted mixture for 10 or 15 cm with a coating knife before applying the tape (with the rough side against the coating).
Then apply a finishing layer, leave to dry and finish to hide the tape and screw heads.
Apply tape to the internal ceiling corners, making sure that the concrete is free of any trace of forming oil.
In the event of projecting vertical angles, use reinforced tape (frame placed at the side of the panel) or a metal corner piece.
Seal : Around 250 g/m² of panel, or 14 m² with 5kg.
Coating : from 100 to 125 g/m² or between 33 and 36 m² with 5kg.
To save time on site, remember to prepare the jointing tape in advance, cutting it to the correct length.
